happily blasted off my vacation with a fun-packed activities week:
from day 1 where my exams ended,
hit town and pampered myself w fish & co seafood platter,
maybelline cosmetics,
cheap manicure and pedicure w BFF,
last min decision to catch xmen origins: wolverine
totally love the leisure of having no brainblowing tasks to do,
and there's no need to rush for any deadlines,
no massive brain cells massacre
it's simply fab to do things at ur own pace!
it's all back to basking in shopping streets~~
hitting sentosa w newfound friends,
secretly falling in love with beach volleyball,
teoheng-ed for 6hours consecutively at the top of my lungs,
clubbing away to mambo,
yumcha sessions w marlene,fiona, bun
splurging on sinful food.
i can finally enjoy THE motivation reward for the exams:
WII!~
rubs hand eagerly and do stretching*
with rui's new drum set, i am sure i will have well toned arms!
visiting the usual starbucks, though for a few close friends of mine,
starbucks meant something entirely different:
it's more like a shrine where prophecy are made and sandcastles are built in the air...
gosh and i have spent so much $$$$$$$$$$$ my guilt starts to kick in
yet not to an extent to stop me from going out everyday. yet.
just yesterday, spent my quality afternn time w my precious mum
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
i spent 3hours spending a $50 TANGS voucher
3 freaking hours.
where i cn prolly spend more within that 3hours in fareast or smth
cos everything was too pricey there, our $50 seems like a meagre sum
this equates the question of what to buy when you are given 10 cents in a 7-11 store.
a top there easily fetch up to $89.00 and those cool heels: $139.00
belts there can cost up to $40.00 for one, though i can buy up to 4belts of lousier quality over at fareast.
i'm not making a fair comparison bt u get what i mean
after travelling up and down the escalators,
my mum decided to buy her silver flops at $29.90 and chomel earrings at $19.90
it's damn irritating how they price their products.
cos of that 10cents, we have to find another product to utilise that voucher.
grrr.
and guess what we bought?
a face towel.
they should really have just give us $100 to shop with.
i bet we can get something so much faster.
carnations are actually traditional mother's day flowers, orignated in US.
i bought one for my mum.
and saw her face just light up,
like a kid who just got his first icecream.
heart melts*
it's saddening to see so much they have done,
but they expect no payback.
though for my practical parents, they keep hinting about clearing their debts when i graduate.
but still wanna say a heartfelt: THANK YOU to my mum
